My name is Asger, I’m from Denmark and GD of Topas in Vietnam. I’ve been a mountain guide since I was 15 and for the past eight years I’ve been working with Topas Travel. I hold a Masters Degree in International and Environmental Studies. My biggest adventure was a solo bicycle trip at the age of 22, from Tanzania to Denmark 9000km along dirt roads on a 100$ bike. Later I hiked 800km through the Pyrenees with Danish Television. My favorite food is Vietnamese Bun Cha!
I’m Quan and I have been working in hospitality and travel for nearly 20 years. I’ve been with Topas since 2001 in almost all departments; as tour leader and within in operation, sales and product development.
Today I’m a part of our Management Team mainly focusing on tour research, development and QA.
My best memorable moments are cruising in the sunset in Hoi An and encountering with minority people while trekking in Northern Vietnam.
I’ve been working with Topas on Vietnam Mountain Marathon since 2013 and I have been Director of Sport since 2016. My work involves organising, researching and developing races. I’ve always been a big fan of outdoor sports from white water kayaking to mountain running and cycling, so this is my dream job! Before working for Topas I was a travel journalist and photographer. I have authored numerous guidebooks on Vietnam for UK publishers but my favourite assignment to date was covering the magnificent caves of Quang Binh for the New York Times.
I have been working with Topas since 2007 as HR manager and Chief Accountant. My job is to advise our Board of Directors on Vietnamese regulations and laws of accounting and labor. Together with the rest of our accounting team, I ensure that the financial reports are on time and all of accounting papers are kept carefully and easy to find and check.
I’m the mother of a girl and a boy and I enjoy spending time with family. When I have a little spare time I like to read and to explore our beautiful country of Vietnam.
