Day 1: Arrive Saigon. Relaxing aside the Mekong River. (-,-,D)
Upon your arrival at Saigon airport, your private driver will meet you for the journey to Mekong Delta, the land of nine dragons. On the way you will see the mighty delta with its quaint rural landscape and immense waterway. After about 2.5 hour drive, you will arrive at Mekong Riverside Resort, the green pearl of Mekong Delta. The rest of the day is at your leisure to enjoy the peaceful life of the surrounding.
In the evening, you get some hands on culinary experience by joining a Vietnamese cooking class. Your chefs will instruct you to prepare the Mekong Riverside Resort’s signature dishes. Have fun and some interesting recipes to take home with. Enjoy dinner in a cozy atmosphere.

Day 2: Explore the Mekong Delta on bike. (B,L,-)
After enjoying your buffet breakfast, you will commence the cycling tour on the village roads to explore the daily life of the people living in the Mekong Delta. You will first visit some workshops to see how sugar is made out from coconut, as well as how the local inhabitants use coconut leaf to make roof-leaf. You then follow the road running along the Ba Rai River to visit a brick fireplace and the Quang Long Pagoda. Your lunch will be served at a local house.
In the afternoon you continue the cycling to visit the Tan Phong Island, where you take a break at a fruits garden. It is a nice time to taste some of the fruits while exploring how the local people plant and harvest durian, longan, grapefruit, water apple... At the end of Tan Phong Island, you pass the river by a wooden ferry to Cai Be where you will visit an Old House and a milk rice paper village. From here, you take another ferry and cycling back to the resort.

Day 3: Floating market and Saigon introduction tour. (B,-,D)
You will get on a sampan to visit the Cai Be floating market at its most busy time. The floating market reflects clearly the culture and purchasing habit of the local people, who are living in the area where waterways transportation is much more popular than other means of transport. You will also enjoy a cruise on rowing boat, which allows you to enter one of thousand small cannels. The sampan then transfers you back to the Mekong Riverside Resort, where you check out and have a transfer to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). You are free to relax until tome for evening vespa tour.

VESPA TOUR
Time: 18:00 – 22:00
Pick up at hotel and first stop is to Café zoom to "watch the world goes by" (quoted by The Lonely Planet) and enjoy cocktail and appetizer (inclusive) before adventuring into favorite local eating spot. Guests experience the nightlife of Saigon the way locals do, all from the back of a vintage Vespa scooter. The tour will start with a ride to part Chinatown and then heading to District 4 through busy streets and alleys to see the night life of locals and enjoy street sea- food and cold drinks, places that foreigner won't be found. Leaving district 4 to district 3 the tour pass through downtown district 1 to take in the sights on the way to Banh Xeo, specialty of Saigon, and southern food with the locals. Then the tour will continue to a hidden Vietnamese-style coffee shop to have a taste of Vietnamese music (live) as a local. After this the tour will bring guest to a lively bar to enjoy the drinks with live music. Guests ride pillion behind our drivers.

Today is free to visit Saigon on your own. Additional book-able tours today includes a half day drive/cruise trip to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels or a highlight sightseeing of Saigon.

Day 5: Flight to Danang for Hoi An. (B,-,-)
You are free until time for a transfer to Saigon airport for the flight to Danang, from there you have another transfer to the UNESCO Heritage Site of Hoi An. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

Day 6: On bike exploring the country side and hidden beach of Hoi An. (B,L,-)
Together with your private tour guide, you will commence the cycling tour from your hotel to the outskirt of Hoi An. The easy 20km ride is on village path and partly on non-heavy traffic roads, with beautiful views of rice fields, villages and rivers, which you will pass by several times by ferries. In the morning you will visit a local market and Cam Kim traditional village of wooden handicrafts and colorful sleeping mats and Cam Thanh village where you may want to ride a water buffalo. Your lunch will be served at a local house.
In the afternoon, you will have an exciting opportunity to try to catch fishes by net, row a basket boat on the sea guided by fisherman, then relax and enjoy to swim at the beach.
You then take a ride back to your hotel.

Day 7: Relaxing day in Hoi An (B,-,-)
Today is free to visit Hoi An Ancient Town on your own. Hoi An was firstly called “Dai Chien” and was at that time one of the most important ports in the Champa dynasty, but merged with Vietnam in the 13th century. Since has Hoi An been inhabited by Chinese, Japanese, Dutch, British and French, which together had given Hoi An a cuisine with a mix of the past. It is therefore always interesting to go investigating the wide range of restaurants. Hoi An Ancient Town is now a World Heritage Centre and a popular tourist destination. Closed to cars and motorbikes, the town is ideal place for pedestrians to explore the ancient streets which retains the sense of history, especially in the full moon night, when traffic and electricity is replaced by lanterns and traditional costumes.

Day 8: Transfer to Hue, the Ancient Capital of Vietnam (B,-,-)
The morning is at your leisure. In the afternoon, you will have a transfer to Hue, with a Stop at the summit of the Hai Van Pass to enjoy a breath-taking panoramic view of the sea and mountainous surroundings.

Day 9: Explore Hue’s Imperial City on bikes. (B,L,-)
The 30km cycling tour gives you an opportunity to explore not only the Imperial citadel of Hue, but also the temptations of the ancient city.
Together with your guide, you commence the ride from your hotel. The first visit is to Dong Ba market, one of the Hue’s romantic symbols, where you will learn about the local foods that make up Hue people’s daily meals. You will then cycle along the northern bank of the Perfume River to the old town of Bao Vinh, reminiscent of the once flourishing time of trading between Hue, later the royal capital, with other nations in the region. Arriving at the Citadel and the Imperial Museum, you will experience of the lifestyle of the royal family and the aristocrats of the Nguyen Dynasty, the last feudal dynasty in Vietnam for 140 years (1805- 1945). You will also visit one of the most typical garden houses of Hue and finally visit the Heavenly Lady Pagoda, one of the oldest Buddhist pagodas in the place.

Day 10: Flight to Hanoi. Hanoi’s Old Quarter walking and street food tasting. (B,-,D)
The morning is at your leisure until having a transfer to Hue Airport for the flight to Hanoi.
The Old Quarter has become the unique classical feature of Hanoi, thanks to its mostly original state. In the late afternoon, together with your guide, you will start a walk along the narrow streets/ alleys to witness the locals' daily life, the old-style narrow streets and houses and the colorful souvenir shops. Many streets share the same with the kind of commodities which are still selling today. During the walk, you will take stops trying some of the tastiest traditional local street foods of Hanoians. The tour ends at the Sword Lake, where you enjoy the Vietnamese folklore water puppetry show.

Day 11: Comfortable drive to Topas Ecolodge. Take a biking tour to neighboring villages (-,-,-)
From 6:30 - 7:00 AM, you will commence from your Hanoi hotel with Topas Mountain Express for a 5 hours transfer to Topas Ecolodge. After checking in your bungalow, you will enjoy the beautiful and peaceful view of the surrounding mountains and valleys from your private balcony.
You will start the afternoon cycling trip by following the main road for three kilometres to Lech village of the Red Dao minority, enjoying the magnificent valley view on the way. Here you will leave your bikes and take a short walk on dirt road to visit a traditional Red Dao family and experience the culture of the minority villagers who are living peacefully in the same way as their ancestors. Back at the parking place, you will take a further ride to the Moi village and learn how the women in their doorways are doing their embroidery, which the Red Dao people are very famous for. From the village, you head back to the Lodge.
In the evening you may want to book a traditional Red Dao herbal bath at the lodge’s newly opened spa.

Overnight at Topas Ecolodge

Day 12: Hiking to the remote area of Sapa (B,L,-)
Enjoy a great breakfast and prepare for today´s walk. At 9:00 AM, you will commence the excursion with a transfer deeper into Hoang Lien National Park to the trek starting point near Sin Chai village. You are now “off the beaten track” enjoying beautiful views of high mountains, waterfalls and the deep valleys. The trails will soon lead you to the Red Dao village of Nam Nhiu, here you will meet the villagers, enjoy a cup of green tea in their house, and learn about their daily way of life. Leaving the village behind, you will turn into a small dirt trail and soon be inspired by the marvelous view of the rice valley dotted with bamboo huts, which used by local farmers as overnight lodge in harvesting days. Passing the rice terraces and a river you will walk on a quiet road for a while before arriving at Nam Cang village. Your lunch is served at Nam Cang Riverside Lodge, with jungle behind the lodge and river in front.
Nam Cang village locates at the most remote area of Sapa. The Red Dao women wear some of the most colorful and diverse costumes of all Vietnam’s ethnic groups. Herbal bath, local medicine and embroidery are some of the things that the Red Dao are very skilled at. Accompanied by your guide, you will explore around the village and learn how the local villagers make writing rice paper, jewelry and embroidery. You may also want to take a swim in the river.
At 14:50, you will have a transfer back to Topas Ecolodge. The traditional Red Dao herbal bath is highly recommended if you missed the chance yesterday.

Day 13: Explore Sapa town and Black H’mong village. Limousine transfer to Hanoi (B,-,-)
At 9:00, you will take a transfer by shuttle bus to Sapa town. You will now get on your bike and take a short tour around the old Hill Station town and its lake.
You will then take a descent into the Muong Hoa valley and its national park, observing the fantastic scenery of mountains and rice paddy fields along the way. You will get off the road and visit a Black H’mong village and explore the mountain tribe, famous for their special skills in making agricultural tools, musical instruments, hemp production and indigo dying.
After a great ride you are now back at Topas Ecolodge where you have time for relaxing.
Topas Mountain Express departs from Sapa at 14:00; from Topas Ecolodge at 15:00 and returns you to your hotel in Hanoi.

Day 14: Transfer to Halong. Onboard an overnight cruise (B,L,D)
After breakfast, you will be picked up by shuttle bus for 3.5 hours transfer to Halong Bay. Upon arrival, you will board a traditional junk and enjoy a well-prepared lunch of fresh seafood while cruising among the thousands of uniquely shaped limestone islands. Cruise amongst the hundreds of islands. You will pass by a lot of islands and islets on the Bay. Stop at Luon cave for kayaking (A bamboo boat will be arranged for the elderly or people who cannot kayak) to visit the small cave and beautiful lagoons. Kayaking provides the opportunity to explore the beautiful lagoons and get closer to the island. Boat will take you to Titop Island for you to enjoy the beach and swimming, or you can climb up to the top to get an overview of a corner of the bay. As the sun sets over the bay, we head back to our cruise and relax. Coffee, tea and fruits will be available on the sundeck or you can order your favorite drink while our boat cruises to the night’s anchorage area. Dinner will be served with local seafood. After dinner you may choose to enjoy drinks from the bar or top deck or experience squid fishing before retiring.

Day 15: Visit Surprise cave. Transfer to Cat Ba Island (B,L,-)
Enjoy the morning view of the beautiful landscape with a cup of coffee or tea. Have breakfast in the fresh air. You will visit the impressive Cave of Halong Bay – Surprising Cave (Sửng Sốt) with your tour guide, a truly awesome and amazing cave to experience. Check out of your cabin and settle your bill as our boat begins cruising back to the harbor. Experience more views of Halong Bay such as Fighting Cocks Island (Symbol of Halong Bay), Incense Burner and Stone Dogs Islands. A cooking demonstration onboard shows you how to make authentic Vietnamese Spring rolls. You will learn about the recipes and techniques that create this popular dish of Vietnamese people. Lunch is served on board during cruising towards the harbor. You will then take a speedboat from Tuan Chau Marina to Cat Ba island. Upon arrival to Gia Luan harbor, our driver is waiting to pick you up to your hotel in Cat Ba. The rest of day is free at Cat Ba beach.

Day 1: Hanoi arrival (-,-,D)
Upon arrival at Noi Bai International airport you will have a transfer to your hotel in downtown of Hanoi.
Your guide will then accompany you for a short walk along the small streets and alleys of the Old Quarter, introducing you to the Hanoian’s culture and cuisine. You will enjoy your first dinner in Hanoi in a fine Vietnamese restaurant.

Day 2: From Red River Delta to the remote Nam Cang Riverside Lodge (B,L,D)
From 6:30 - 7:00 AM, the Topas Mountain Express will pick you up at your Hanoi hotel before departing for a nearly 5 hours transfer to Thanh Phu Bridge, followed by a short transfer to Nam Cang village. Well arrived you will walk through the village, cross a private bridge and check into your private room in the comfortable Nam Cang Riverside Lodge. Your lunch is served at the lodge.
The afternoon is perfect for visiting the Red Dao minority village. Nam Cang locates in the most remote area of Sapa and the Red Dao women wear some of the most colorful and diverse costumes of all Vietnam’s ethnic groups. Herbal bath, local medicine and embroidery are some of the things that the Red Dao are very skilled at. Accompanied by your guide, you will explore around the village and learn how the local villagers make writing paper from rice, silver jewelry and embroidery.
Back at the lodge you may want to try a special herbal bath, made by handpicked herbs collected by your host in the jungle located just behind the house.
The dinner is served at the big wooden table or at the terrace overlooking the river.

Add on: Join a local woman and pick your own mixture of herbs and spend the evening in a special traditional bath, based on your blend. The tour must be pre-booked.

Overnight at Nam Cang Riverside Lodge

Day 3: Walk along the river and into the jungle. Transfer to Topas Ecolodge (B,L,-)
In the morning you take a walk up to the jungle to explore the beautiful surrounding nature. You will encounter with the locals walking with their barefoot. The higher you go, the more you will be inspired by the origin of the nature. On the way back, you will visit one of the small houses of remote located Red Dao minorities, who are very poor and live just outside the forest. Now, the forest opens up to a great view into the valley, a big stream and several forests covered hilltops.
Arrive back at Nam Cang Riverside Lodge, you may want to take a swim in the river before enjoying your lunch. At 14:40, you have a transfer by shuttle bus to the Topas Ecolodge. From your bungalow’s balcony, you may enjoy your aerial view over the mountainous area where you have just been.

Day 4: Back to the city life of Hanoi (B,-,-)
The morning is at your leisure at Topas Ecolodge. You can either relax or borrow free of charge high quality mountain bikes from the lodge for an exploration to the surrounding area. You can also take a scheduled shuttle bus to Sapa to visit the town or book a half day tour to explore the highest peak of Indochina, Mt. Fansipan (3.143m) by the newly launched cable car. Finally you may want to book a treatment in the lodge’s newly opened hilltop spa.
At 15:00, Topas Mountain Express departs from Topas Ecolodge and returns to the airport or to your hotel in Hanoi.
The rest of the day is at your leisure.

Overnight at Hong Ngoc Dynastie Hotel

Day 5: Travel to Ninh Binh, Halong bay on land (B,L,-)
At 9h00, you will meet the guide and driver for 2 hours car ride to Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam in the 10th century under Dinh and Le Dynasty before having moved to Thang Long, the current site of Hanoi by Ly Dynasty. After visiting the Temples, you will start cycling along the hidden road to Tam Coc. The small paved road running through the beautiful landscapes made of rice fields and limestone Islets, called “Halong in Land”, surely make your 1 and haft hour ride shorter. Have lunch at a local restaurant then you will start the cruise on the small rowing boat to visit Tam Coc Grottoes. The cruise gives you a perfect time to enjoy the fresh feeling of the country side of Vietnam when your boat goes along the river.

Day 6: Transfer to Halong. Onboard an overnight cruise (B,L,D)
You will rise up early today for the drive to Halong Bay on No 10 Road, which run through the Red River Delta. You then have a transfer to Hanoi Airport for your onward flight home or further adventure.

Day 1: Hanoi arrival. Old Quarter walk and local street food (-,-,D)
Upon arrival at Noi Bai International airport, you will meet your guide and driver and have a transfer to you hotel in Hanoi downtown.
In the late afternoon, together with your guide, you will take a stroll along the narrow streets inside the Old Quarter, where maintains its original architecture of old Hanoi. Each of the streets was named after its particular trade. It is a great chance for your children to discover the daily life of The Old Quarter’s inhabitants. Thanks to the habit, there are countless of street food stalls with wide range of food are locating there, all has its particular style and taste. During your walk, you will explore local markets, old houses…and enjoy some different kind of food. You will also enjoy a drink in an old style café before returning to the hotel.

Day 2: Hidden Hanoi cooking class and city tour (B,L,-)
After breakfast at hotel, your guide will meet you for a visit to the Ho Chi Minh mausoleum before going to the West Lake to the base of your private cooking class where you will present at around 10:00. Hereafter, accompanied by a member of cooking class team, you will take a market tour to purchase the ingredients for the cooking class. There are various menus for you to choose from. The team will not just only show you how to cook but also give you more information about Vietnamese culture throughout the course with the short movie demonstrating a traditional Vietnamese kitchen; by explaining the importance of rice and its cultural significance; the different spices, when and how they are used; the market; and of course fish sauce.
At 14:00, after enjoying the food that you have just learned and cooked yourselves, you will meet your private guide and driver and continue visiting some other attractive sites of Hanoi.
The 1st visit is the Museum of Ethnology, the research centre and public museum exhibiting the ethnic groups of Vietnam. You will then drive back to the downtown of Hanoi, the Restored Sword Lake, to visit the Ngoc Son Temple. From here you will start a cyclo ride through Old Quarter with its bustling 36 streets and ending with uniquely amazing water puppet show.

Day 3: From Red River Delta to the remote Nam Cang Riverside Lodge (B,L,D)
From 6:30 - 7:00 AM, the Topas Mountain Express will pick you up at your Hanoi hotel before departing for a nearly 5 hours transfer to Thanh Phu Bridge, followed by a short transfer to Nam Cang village. Well arrived you will walk through the village, cross a private bridge and check into your private room in the comfortable Nam Cang Riverside Lodge. Your lunch is served at the lodge.
The afternoon is perfect for visiting the Red Dao minority village. Nam Cang locates in the most remote area of Sapa and the Red Dao women wear some of the most colorful and diverse costumes of all Vietnam’s ethnic groups. Herbal bath, local medicine and embroidery are some of the things that the Red Dao are very skilled at. Accompanied by your guide, you will explore around the village and learn how the local villagers make writing paper from rice, silver jewelry and embroidery.
Back at the lodge you may want to try a special herbal bath, made by handpicked herbs collected by your host in the jungle located just behind the house.
The dinner is served at the big wooden table or at the terrace overlooking the river.

Add on: Join a local woman and pick your own mixture of herbs and spend the evening in a special traditional bath, based on your blend. The tour must be pre-booked.

Day 4: Walk along the river and into the jungle. Transfer to Topas Ecolodge (B,L,-)
In the morning you take a walk up to the jungle to explore the beautiful surrounding nature. You will encounter with the locals walking with their barefoot. The higher you go, the more you will be inspired by the origin of the nature. On the way back, you will visit one of the small houses of remote located Red Dao minorities, who are very poor and live just outside the forest. Now, the forest opens up to a great view into the valley, a big stream and several forests covered hilltops.
Arrive back at Nam Cang Riverside Lodge, you may want to take a swim in the river before enjoying your lunch. In the afternoon, you will have a private transfer to the Topas Ecolodge. From your bungalow’s balcony, you may enjoy your aerial view over the mountainous area where you have just been.

Day 5: Back to the city life of Hanoi (B,-,-)
The morning is at your leisure at Topas Ecolodge. You can either relax or borrow free of charge high quality mountain bikes from the lodge for an exploration to the surrounding area. You can also take a scheduled shuttle bus to Sapa to visit the town or book a half day tour to explore the highest peak of Indochina, Mt. Fansipan (3.143m) by the newly launched cable car. Finally you may want to book a treatment in the lodge’s newly opened hilltop spa.
At 15:00, Topas Mountain Express departs from Topas Ecolodge and returns to your hotel in Hanoi.

Day 6: Halong Bay Cruise (B,L,D)
At 8:00, you will join a bus transfer to Halong. Upon arrival at the whalf just before noon, you will get on board your overnight cruise. Welcome drink and fresh sea food lunch are ready onboard. You will enjoy lunch while the Traditional Style Boat cruises its way into the seascape of Halong Bay, a natural UNESCO heritate site. The cruising route is well customized to offer you the best that Halong Bay has to offer. You can relax on the dock, have a swim in the emarald water, visit a cave...
Halong Bay is one of the food heavens in Vietnam with wide ranges of sea food. Your delicious meals with fresh seafood will be well prepared and served on board.
After enjoy your dinner, you will try to fish some squid or retire to your private well equiped cabin.

Day 7: Halong Bay cruise. Flight to Danang (B,L,-)
You rise up early and try to practice Tai Chi on the dock in the sunrise. The boat continues its cruise between thousands of beautiful and strange shapes islets. Your breakfast and lunch (or brunch) will be served onboard before disembarking time.
You will then have a transfer to the airport for a short flight to Danang. Upon arrival, you will be met for 1 hour transfer to Hoi An.

Day 8: Hoi An Buffalo Cart Experience (B,-,D)
The morning is free to explore Hoi An Ancient Town on your own. In the afternoon, Mr Xe and enjoy a 30 minute buffalo cart ride followed by a 15 minute walk through the rural villages within Hoi An, learning about local farming, life and customs. Water buffalos play an integral role in the farming of rice, the most prolific form of agriculture in Vietnam. There is no better way to experience local culture and learn about local life than an excursion with the water buffalo and his cart, join grow vegetables directly with local farmers. Escorted by our local staff, we will explore nearby farms, experience the life of farmers for generations An My vegetable hardworking, plain with fields, gardens with the traditional villages.In addition to rice paddies, we will travel the village roads and visit small village farms growing peanuts, sesame and other crops while observing the daily activities of the people. Mr Xe, our friendly buffalo is lovely company and he is sure to make your journey into our rural culture truly unique! Returning to the rice paddies, take a seat and enjoy a wonderful neck, foot and shoulder massage as the sun sets. Let the quietness engulf you. Opening your eyes after the massage, you are greeted with a delicious BBQ dinner and wine to enjoy as the sun sets for the day.

Day 9: Hoi An, Lantern Making (B,-,-)
Have you been amazed by the beautiful streets of the old town at night under the flickering lights of the many beautiful lanterns, especially in the full moon nights? The lanterns have been becoming both part of Hoi An culture and Hoi An today. This half day tour will give you the opportunity to not only learn how to make the lantern, but also to get closer with Hoian history and culture. Together with your guide you will get on the bike for a short ride to the home of a craftsman, which is 2.5 km from old town. Here you will have a brief introduction to the history, shape and colour of the lantern as well as the many stage of making them. You will then start practicing to make your own lantern. At noon, you saying goodbye to your host and cycling back to Hoi An, together with your own make lantern as a souvenir.

Day 10: Flight to Saigon (B,-,-)
You are free until time for transfer to Danang airport to take a fight to Saigon. Upon arrival, you will be picked up to hotel. The rest of day is free at your leisure.

Day 11: Explore the local life of Mekong Delta (B,-D)
You commence the tour in the morning from Ho Chi Minh City by a 2.5 hour transfer to Mekong Delta. The mighty Mekong River enters Vietnam and split itself into two main branches, which later be separated into 9 smaller branches. All the branches are connected to each other with the networks of thousands of canals and arroyos. Mekong Riverside Resort is located right in the heart of the network. In the afternoon you take a motored boat ride to Tan Phong Islet, where you will enjoy a rowing boat cruise and learn from local fishermen their traditional fishing by net. You will visit a fruit garden and taste some different kinds of fruit specialties of Mekong Delta whilst drinking tea and chatting with the friendly hosts. You then take the boat back to the resort.
The rest of the day is at your relaxing with free access to swimming pool, activities of kayaking or fishing. You will join the interesting cooking class and have dinner at the resort.

Day 12: Cai Be floating market. Back to Saigon for flight to Phu Quoc (B,-,-)
In the morning you take the motored boat to visit the Cai Be floating market. The floating market reflects clearly the culture and purchasing habit of the local people, who are living in the area where waterways transportation is much more popular than other means of transport. You will experience of exchanging goods for the garden products from the local sellers. The boat then disembarks at a handicraft village where you get on the bikes and cycle to Phu Chau pagoda. You will cross the river together with local inhabitants by ferry, then paddling along the river to experience the daily way of life. On the way back to the resort, you will visit a fish sauce factory and take a break at the local bonsai garden.
Arrive back at the resort you will check out and have a transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City for a flight to Phu Quoc Island.

Day 13-15: Relaxing days in Phu Quoc (B,-,-)
Phu Quoc is also known as “Emerald Island” with its stunning beaches, powder white sands and turquoise sea. Plenty of activities are available during your 4 days here. Walking tours to explore the National Park; wild island getaway; snorkeling and Scuba diving; night squid fishing..., and the most enjoyable activity would be sunbathing and swimming on one of the beautiful and deserted beach.

Day 16: Flight back to Saigon for departure (B,-,-)
The day is at your leisure until having flight to Saigon for the onward flight.
