Topas’ Black Hmong village hike goes off the beaten track. Enjoy quiet walking amongst beautiful nature close to Sapa and experience daily life by visiting the private home of a Black H’mong family in Ma Tra Village. This walk can be arranged as a half-day or full-day excursion, including lunch.
Meet your guide after breakfast in Sapa town for a great walk in the beautiful surroundings of Sapa among rice fields, water buffaloes and colorful villages.
This tour can be half or full day.
Your day starts with a short walk through Sapa before continuing along a dirt trail through beautiful gardens and lush pine forests. You’ll then walk through Ma Tra, a very small Black H’mong ethnic minority village with traditional houses and friendly villagers. This village is rarely visited by tourists and is therefore a great choice if you want a unique trip. Learn how indigo is used to dye clothes and enjoy watching children play along the pathways.
Next, continue through ricefields and yet more spectacular scenery before visiting a local school. If you are still feeling active, we can extend the tour and continue for the remainder of the day.
The price is per person and based on a group of 4 persons and for half day walk.
