Day 1: Pick up from Sapa town. Trekking Giang Ta Chai – Seo Trung Ho
Day 2: Trekking Seo Trung Ho – Ma Quai Ho – Ban Ho village
Day 3: Trekking Ban Ho – Nam Toong – My Son – Thanh Phu
Day 4: Trekking Thanh Phu – Nam Nhiu – Nam Cang
Day 5: Exploring the jungle on the backyard of Nam Cang village
Day 6: Hiking to mountainside of Lech Mong village
Day 7: Full day relax at Topas Eco-lodge. Afternoon transfer back to Sapa town

Day 1: Trekking Giang Ta Chai – Seo Trung Ho.

A short transfer will bring you to Giang Ta Chai, home village of Black H’mong and Red Dao ethnic. Here you will start your hiking tour, the trails is on the foot of Hoang Lien Mountain range. You first take an ascent to a small village, inhabited by Black H’mong ethnic minority, who are famous for their skilled embroidery and unique culture. The continue track will be leading you to a Red Dao village, the major ethnic living in this region. You will visit a local house and learn about their culture, such as what featured in their beautiful embroidery products; why women shaving their hair after married… before hike through the beautiful bamboo forest and green lush of jungle. You then enjoy your picnic lunch at a nice spot near a river.
In the afternoon, you will hike on a trail running up the mountain to the remote Red Dao village of Seo Trung Ho, where you will stay overnight in a local house. The rest of the late afternoon is time for you to explore the village and visit the nearby waterfall.
You then enjoy dinner and share the culture with the Red Dao hosts by the seating next to fire before returning to your bed.
Note: Be aware of short steep descend section, it could be difficult on wet day.

Day 2: Trekking Seo Trung Ho – Ma Quai Ho – Ban Ho.

Wake up and enjoy your breakfast in the mountain with the fresh air and sound of nature.
You will then pack up and ready for a hike uphill to the mountain side. The steep trail might make you feel tired but the compensation is the fantastic view of the beneath valleys and the interest of explore the rich biodiversity of the mountains.
After enjoying your picnic lunch, you take a descent to Ban Ho. a pretty village of Tay ethnic locating by the Muong Bo River. The Tay ethnic is famous with beautiful tradition house on stilts and their cuisine. The Lavie waterfall, which is few hundred meters from village, is a nice option to enjoy your late afternoon by swimming in the fresh clean water.
You will stay tonight in a still house.

Day 3: Trekking Ban Ho – Nam Toong – My Son – Thanh Phu

Your trek today is another challenge of going up and down in the mountain side. Leave a friendly village of Ban Ho, you will first hike uphill to Nam Toong village of Red Dao minority. The beautiful scenery and landscape spreads out in your eyes. Along the way you might encounter with some local villager being in their farm.
Crossing the Muong Bo River on a pretty suspended bridge, you will take a break and enjoy lunch. You then take a short walk to My Son village, inhabited by Xa Pho Ethnic minority. Xa Pho is one of smallest ethnic groups in Vietnam, possesses their own rich culture. Their life style, as their ancestors’, is very much dependent on nature. Saying goodbye to the Xa Pho village you take a short walk to Thanh Phu, where you stay for tonight. Thanh Phu and Ban Ho are the two villages in this remote mountain areas inhabited by Tay minority.
The rest of the day is time for relax and enjoy a cup of tea, or wandering around the village where houses and the village shops open until late afternoon.

Day 4: Trekking Thanh Phu – Nam Nhiu – Nam Cang.

You will commence the trek today on a dirt trail along the small pretty rice valley. The picturesque rice terraces have been shaped by the local ethnic minorities for hundreds of year. During the day you will have chance to learn more about farming culture in the mountain; from first growing until when steam rice serving in table with some delicious dishes.
You then arrive at the Red Dao village of Nam Nhiu, where you enjoy lunch at a nice spot.
In the afternoon the trek runs through the beautiful Nam Cang valley with endless rice terraces and mountain surrounding. In the late afternoon, you will arrive at the Red Dao village of Nam Cang, which settles in the most remote area of Sapa. Your tonight accommodation is at Topas Riverside Lodge, which locates inside village with a pretty stream running nearby. It is time for you to relax, swimming at stream or trying the special Red Dao herbal bath.

Trek length: Approx 12km trekking / 5-6 hours

Day 5: Exploring the behind jungle.

In the morning you take a walk up to the jungle to explore the beautiful surrounding nature. You will encounter with the locals walking with their barefoot. The higher you go, the more you will be inspired by the origin of the nature. Along the trail you will meet many different kind of tree, bamboo, and herbs. The cardamom is planted in this area, it is a special spicy and bring the good income for village. Listen to the sound of nature and birds, you will soon meet a clear river running out from mountain. Here is a nice spot for you to stop for relax, enjoy the nature, deep your feet into the cool water. You will spend some more time to explore the surrounding forest before going back.
Leave the mountain, you will return to village on the same track by noon. Arrive back at Topas Riverside Lodge, you may want to take a swim in the river before enjoying your lunch.
Afternoon at 14:50pm you will take the Topas shuttle bus for transfer to Topas Ecolodge for stay. The Lodge locates on top of the mountain with spectacular view of surrounding valleys. It is perfect place for you to relax and enjoy swim at hotel’s infinity pool.

Trek length: Approx 7km hiking/ 2,5 – 3 hours.

Day 6: Hiking to mountainside of Lech Mong village.

You will commence your walk from Topas Ecolodge by ascending the footpaths of Mount Silverstone up to the Black H’mong village of Lech Mong. On the way you will have stunning views of the valleys and rice paddy terraces in this remote and beautiful countryside. As with all other Black H’mong villages, Lech Mong village locates at high altitude and you will reach it after 1.5 hours of ascent. Once there, you will have chance to meet local ethnic, visit their home. You will be charmed by the culture of the Black H’mong and hear stories told by your hospital hosts. The Black H’mong is very good at making agricultural tools, wooden furniture, musical instruments and jewelry. They are also famous for their hemp production and indigo dying. Next you will descend to the bottom of the valley, having a picnic lunch on the way. The view is beautiful and soon you will reach a Red Dao village and then walk back to Topas Ecolodge.

Day 7: Full day relax at Topas Ecolodge. Afternoon transfer back to Hanoi.

You will spend whole day for relax at the best view hotel in the Mountain of Vietnam. Enjoy some special delicious dishes, enjoy swimming at the great infinity pool.
At 15:00 Topas Mountain Express bus will transfer you back to Hanoi on highway for five hours driving.
