Snorkel and Kayak in Myanmar is for the once who dream of the perfect and different active beach vacation in South East Asia, with snorkeling, kayaking and swimming. Dream no longer and join our tour of beautiful islands and white beaches. This is something totally different to be shared with a group of like minded travellers.
Day 1: The Three Islets… and 115 Islands
Day 2: Crystal-clear water, jungle and beach
Day 3: Snorkeling, swimming or kayaking along the islands
Day 4: Visit the High Rock (Hlaing Gu Island) and BBQ
Day 5: Back to Victoria Point
Your guide will meet you at the airport or pier of Kawthaung town in the southernmost point of Myanmar. He will transfer you to the boat for check in. If you are interested and if time permits, you can join a short optional city tour and troll through the lively market near the Jetty, visit the famous Victoria Point, the most southern tip of Myanmar’s mainland, visit the Pyi Daw Aye Pagoda with scenic views across the river to Ranong and finish the tour with a short drive through the fishermen settlements on the outskirts of the town. Tonight the group will make an overnight cruise to The Three Islets. (-/-/D)
Wake up with to a stunning sea view at The Three Islets and enjoy your breakfast served onboard, swim and snorkel with tons of fishes through the crystal-clear water. Later follow our guide through the lush tropical jungle to a small beach where you can find beautiful shells swapped in from the ocean. Before lunch we cruise to Nyaung Wee Island and visit the Moken Village.
During lunchtime we will cruise to the largest sea gipsy settlement in the area on Bo Cho Island. Be prepared to get surrounded by curious kids. Bring some small gifts and be even more overwhelmed by their warm welcome. Walk through the village and take scenic pictures from the Pagoda located on the hill overlooking the entire village. You depart and from deck it time for observing the daily life of the almost extinct sea-gypsies. The boat now cruises to Lampi Island and anchor for the night nearby. (B/L/D)
In the early morning it is now time for kayaking along the mangrove forest or snorkeling, swimming or enjoying a beach nearby. Later the boat continues to Tar Yar and Ko Phawt and Pilar Island for more of kayaking, swimming, snorkeling, or beach activities. In the early evening we will cruise and overnight near Iguana Bay. It is early morning in Iguana Bay and maybe you are off for a morning swim? We departure around 09:00 am to High Rock or Hlaing Gu Island. Here we again explore the beautiful area by swimming, visiting the Island or Kayaking, Snorkling. Today is the last evening and it will be celebrated by a great BBQ dinner on boat. We overnight onboard nearby Salon Island. (B/L/D)
Wake up and have breakfast. Today we cruise to Kawthaung town where it is time to disembark MV Sea Gipsy and transfer to the Kawthaung airport or Ranong in Thailand. (B/-/-)
This tour is shared with other adventurous travelers and only run with 4 to 10 persons. Private charter is a possibility.
