Ready for the adventure of a lifetime? Leave your hotel at 7:00 and head to the Oxalis Adventure headquarters located right on the river to join the tour briefing before a day of caving in Nuoc Nut, one of Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park’s most adventurous caves.
Stop for a picnic lunch at the cave’s entrance, venturing inside afterwards, illuminating the cavern with your headlamp as you go until the cave opens up into a massive chamber. Take time to admire the subterranean formations before swimming in an underground lake which leads to a steep, rocky hill incline followed by a descent into Hang Va Jungle Camp.
Enjoy dinner served by the porter team as you stargaze and listen to the sounds of the jungle.

Fill up on a big breakfast before joining the day’s safety briefing on how to use harnesses and ropes. Then, descend into the steep rocky entrance of Hang Va, a beautiful stream cave filled with narrow passages, rocky climbs, and some deep underground pools.
After exploring the river passages, you will use your harnesses and traverse across to a high level passage using the ropes. Follow the path up into this large dry passage to reach the amazing tower cone formations. As of yet, no one knows exactly how they were formed.
Return the same way you entered to the camp for lunch. End the day with a trek through the jungle over a rocky hill to another stream valley, and back to the road. Return to your accommodation around 17:00, just in time for a hot dinner and even hotter shower.
